"Let's actually fix things"
Trent Ford

A Problem-Solver for Alabama

I'm Trent Ford, and I fix things that don't work. With a Master's in Computer Systems and Software Design, I've built my career solving complex problems through persistent, methodical approaches. I take a solutocratic approach.

As someone who is autistic, I bring a unique strength to the table: the ability to focus intensely on problems until they're solved. This isn't just how I approach technology, it's how I approach the challenges facing our district.

I'm running as an Independent with the Yellowhammer Party because I believe our first accountability should be to God, then to you, not to some national political party. Our communities deserve representatives who put people ahead of politics.

I'm a Christian who believes that when you see people hurting, you don't just pray, you act. Let's fix what's broken in Alabama together.

Solutions for District 7

Energy Independence

Lower power bills through expanded nuclear energy and improved infrastructure. Alabama should lead in clean, affordable energy that powers our economy and reduces costs for families.

Education for Tomorrow

Schools that prepare students for modern jobs with the tools and support they need. Every child in District 7 deserves an education that opens doors to opportunity.

Government Accountability

Serving with integrity means transparency, fiscal responsibility, and putting people before party politics. My solutocratic approach means evaluating policies by their results, not their party labels. Government should work for you, not the other way around.

Rural Healthcare

Better access to healthcare in rural areas through expanded telehealth and supporting our local medical professionals. Distance shouldn't determine your access to care.

AI & Innovation

Smart regulation of artificial intelligence that protects Alabamians while embracing innovation. We need thoughtful policies that prepare us for the future.

Serving "The Least of These"

Christian values in action means helping those who need it most. Government should be a force for lifting people up, not holding them back.

Faith-Based Practical Leadership

"My first accountability is to God, then to you, not to some national political party."
I believe in applying Christian principles to practical governance. When we see our neighbors struggling with high energy bills, inadequate healthcare access, or schools that aren't preparing our children for success, we have a moral obligation to act. My autism gives me the persistence to keep working on problems until they're solved, and that's exactly what District 7 needs in Montgomery. I'm not interested in political games or partisan talking points. I'm interested in results that make life better for the people I serve. This is what I call solutocratic governance, solutions over ideology, every time.
